Southern New Mexico (USA) is one of the world's major pecan growers with hundreds of farms extending from the Hatch area south to El Paso TX. They are mostly situated along the Rio Grande valley. When I began my project photographing the pecan farming industry I was especially taken with the setting of Los Puentes Farms, south of Radium Springs. This magnificent setting features the Robledo Mountains as a backdrop.
We created this video from drone footage shot on March 13, 2022. In April the trees will begin leafing out and bring to life another year of pecan production!
